Ourmedia Groups
In case you haven’t checked out Ourmedia recently, now is the time to do that. We added the much awaited feature – Groups – to Ourmedia a few days back. There are still a lot of bugs left in the system and we had to migrate Ourmedia to its latest drupal version to incorporate groups because of some of the dependencies taken by the module.
I can tell you from personal experience that drupal migration is not something you will want to look forward to – partly because of the existence of numerous 3rd party modules (not all of which are properly patched), and partly because of the breaking changes in drupal core. Having said that, when I see the response to Groups so far – it just proves the fact that the entire effort was well worth it. It’s such a pleasing experience. Go check that out and give us feedback. There are a few more things planned for Ourmedia that we will get to with time, depending on the priorities of all other things we have been doing.
